Anom Terms of Service

1. Who you're agreeing with

These terms are an agreement between you and Mohammad Khalaf, Amman, Jordan ("we", "us"), the publisher of the Anom app. By creating an account or using Anom you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What Anom is

Anom is a personal CRM and dialer: a place to record the people you meet, why they matter, and when to follow up. It is provided as-is for your personal or professional use. We work hard to make it reliable, but it is not a system of record for anything critical — keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose (Settings → Export my data).

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Keep your password and device secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One person, one account. Don't share it.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that abuses the service (for example, using the voice or scanning features to process large volumes of data that isn't yours).

4. Your content and other people's data

Everything you put into Anom — contacts, notes, recordings, photos — stays yours. We claim no ownership. You give us permission to store and process it only so that Anom works for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Much of what you store is information about other people. You are responsible for it:

  • collect it lawfully and fairly — for example because they gave you their details or agreed to stay in touch;
  • keep it accurate and no longer than you need it;
  • honour any request from them to be removed — delete the contact and it's gone from our servers too;
  • don't use Anom to store information you have no right to hold, or to harass, stalk, or discriminate against anyone.

In data-protection terms, you decide what to store and why (the controller); we store and process it on your instructions (the processor).

5. Voice, scanning and AI

Anom AI — voice capture and card scanning — uses automated speech recognition and language models to fill in contact cards. They make mistakes. Always check what they produce before relying on it. Recordings and images are processed and then deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • use Anom for anything illegal;
  • try to break into, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service;
  • use it to send spam or unsolicited contact;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the service, or sell data obtained through it;
  • upload malware or content you don't have the right to use.

7. Price and changes

Anom has a Free plan and Anom Pro. The Free plan includes every feature, up to 30 contacts and 20 open reminders. Anom Pro removes those limits. Anom Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, Monthly or Yearly, bought through the App Store or Google Play. The price shown in the store when you buy is the price that applies. Cancellation and refunds follow the store's own terms; cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps Pro until the paid period ends. We may change plans, prices or features, and may discontinue features; nothing you have already paid for will be taken away without notice. If we ever shut Anom down we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

8. What we don't promise

Anom is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties — about availability, accuracy of AI output, or fitness for a particular purpose — and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under the laws of Jordan or the law where you live. To the extent the law allows, you will cover us against claims, losses and costs that arise from your breach of these terms or from the data you store about other people.

9. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → My profile → Account → Delete account) or via anom.app/delete-account. We can end the agreement if you breach these terms. On termination your right to use Anom stops; your data, including contact photos, is deleted as the Privacy Policy describes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and any dispute goes to the courts of Amman, unless the law where you live gives you rights that can't be overridden.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change something meaningful we'll tell you in the app or by email to your account address, and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Anom after the change means you accept it.
